Sandra Shearin started her career in real estate in 1981 joining the then one-year old South Shore Realty, coming on board as its third sales agent.

Continuing with the company through some rather lean, poor economical and high interest years, she purchased the company in 1988. With the addition of more agents and a new location, the company soon became one of Lake Gaston’s major real estate companies and remains so today.

A lifelong resident of the area, Sandra remembers the construction of the dam, the flooding of the land to form the lake and the many changes as the lake developed into a beautiful area luring people for retirement, recreation and investment.

Usually there is not much time away from real estate, but when there is, Sandra loves spending time with her grandchildren, Victoria, Cassidy and Brewer. She also does volunteer work and she presently serves as chair of the Warren County Board of Elections and is an advisory board member of a local bank and an area lending institution.

Sandra has a vast knowledge of the area with over 25 years of experience right here at Lake Gaston. She is licensed in NC and VA and has a genuine passion for helping people with their real estate needs. Sandra believes people are the best part of the real estate business at Lake Gaston.
